25 things about me
  1. Sue is not my real name. Its just what I call myself when I wake up in the middle of the night, after a nightmare.
  2. I am an aquarian to the core. Almost every aquarian trait is so me! I wonder if every aquarian feels that way.
  3. My all-time favourite food is raw mangoes, eaten with a mixture of red chilli powder, salt and coconut oil.
  4. I don't watch much sports, but I am game to play anything, anytime. I just don't get people who claim they love sports, but all they do is sit in front of the telly and switch channels.
  5. My family and friends are very dear to me. Though I have my rare moments when I contemplate the futility of all earthly ties.
  6. I hope to bike all over The Netherlands in the next two years.
  7. I go the extra mile, in almost everything I do. Perfection is something I strive for.
  8. After many years of struggling with it, I can now accept things calmly when not everything is perfect. I declare myself mature.
  9. Rules are not for me. Nor do I bother to break them.
  10. I believe in "Live, and let live".
  11. I do intend to change the world. I am an aquarian, after all.
  12. I study till I am 20. I work to learn till I am 30. Then, I work for money till I am 40. I work for humanity till I am 50. I work for fun till I am 60. I write till I am 80. Then, I go into "vanavas" till I am 100. So far, I am on track..:)
  13. I love to wander. To say, I love to travel, I think I should know where I am headed. So I will just say, I love to wander the earth. Where will I live next? I don't know that yet.
  14. I was born in Kozhikode. Pronounce that right, and I will buy you a coffee!
  15. I indulge in deep thoughts, and questions without answers.
  16. I love Physics, Mathematics and all things logical.
  17. I enjoy art, music and all things that don't give in to logic.
  18. My middle name could have been contradictions. But then I believe nothing is absolute. Contradiction is a reality, just like any other.
  19. I believe in the fourth dimension. And that in 200 years, man would move across time, just as he moves across space.
  20. If I could invent something, it would be the "shelves" of the future. Everything I possess, from data to clothes to my Manolo Blahniks, should be within my hand's reach, and yet be invisible and occupy no space, to be conjured only at will and to be teleported to wherever I am at any given time. I am still looking for a cool name for it.
  21. I value loyalty. Very much.
  22. Pretences, of all sorts, annoy me.
  23. When I was young, I used to concentrate hard to try and find out what the Sue in other parallel universes would be doing at any given time. I thought there must be a sharing of subconscious and if I tried hard enough, I should be able to penetrate it. I also remember believing that I have left over memories from my past life. No, I wasn't insane. Just that the naivete of childhood manifests in different ways.
  24. Waking up on a snowy Sunday morning beside my husband, cuddling up on an armchair with warm coffee and a good book, is to me, heaven on earth.
  25. 25 - that's the number of years I have walked this earth. And if all goes according to plan, hope to do it for another 75 more.
